Group Mediclaim (GMC) is a single policy an employer takes to cover a group of employees — often with their families — for hospitalisation. Because it's a group, it can offer richer terms than individual plans, including day-one cover for pre-existing conditions and maternity.

What is Group Mediclaim (GMC)?

Are pre-existing diseases covered from day one?

Group plans often waive the waiting periods that individual policies impose — including pre-existing conditions and maternity — subject to the terms agreed with the insurer.

Can we cover employees' parents?

What is a CD account?

A cash-deposit account held with the insurer that funds mid-term additions and deletions as your headcount changes. We manage it and keep it topped up for you.

What happens when an employee leaves?
